
PANNDT Awards
The PANNDT Awards are presented every four years at the PANNDT Conference. They recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) community across the Americas, with particular emphasis on impact across multiple countries in the region.
Nominations may be submitted by anyone using the official nomination form. All submissions are reviewed by the PANNDT Executive, which makes the final award selections.

Award Categories
João Conte President’s Award
Established in 2024, the PANNDT President’s Award recognizes an NDT professional in the Americas who has made outstanding contributions to the field. Contributions may be technical, educational, or managerial in nature and demonstrate meaningful impact on the NDT community.
PANNDT Technical Achievement Award
This award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional technical contributions to the advancement of NDT in the Americas. Recipients are selected based on the significance and merit of their technical achievements, including influential publications in recognized technical journals.
PANNDT NDT Research Award
The PANNDT NDT Research Award honors individuals who have demonstrated sustained excellence in research and development related to NDT. The award highlights innovative work and breakthrough contributions that benefit industry, society, and the broader NDT field.
NDT Professional of the Year
This award recognizes an NDT professional within an organization who demonstrates outstanding technical ability, ethical conduct, teamwork, and dedication to delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
NDT Professional of the Year (Under 30)
This award recognizes a young NDT professional under the age of 30 who has demonstrated exceptional technical ability, ethical behavior, effective collaboration, and commitment to high standards of professional service.
PANNDT Conference Student Poster Award
This award recognizes students who present outstanding research posters at the PANNDT Conference. Posters are evaluated by the Conference Organizing Committee based on presentation quality, innovation, and relevance to NDT.
